Monday—I enjoyed power washing the sidewalks at Avante.
All five of us got strikes during bowling and Carson got a spare.
Tuesday—I enjoyed digging holes for fence posts at PawPaw’s house. We were treated to pizza and ice cream.
My favorite activity at Ashby Pool was the belly flop contest.
Wednesday—I helped to repair the horseshoe pit at Our Community Place. I replaced the sand in the pit.
My favorite part of the talent show was Team Raisin Bran’s glow stick routine.
Thursday—I was happy to help build a play set for a little girl.
We hid $1 bills with notes in packages of toys, in purses and in clothing at the Goodwill to bless strangers.
Friday—I had fun at the waterpark with Carson, Johnny and Peter. We raced down the outdoor slides together.
Sam was my favorite speaker this year, because he was funny. I felt peaceful when he asked the people in the auditorium to sit in silence and pray.
