This is HUGE for me...I am allowing others to peek into my chaotic life. I emailed a few photos to my sister and another friend today, to prove that when I say my house is a mess, I mean it. Most people snicker at the thought, because they know that when I say mess it's not really a mess compared to most standards. Now, do you believe me? This is just a sample showing one of four rooms that are not tidy. This is our old bedroom, turning into B's new room. All we need to do is finish the closet in our new room, move stuff down to that one, paint his room, reorganize two more dressers and closets and move his bed over so we can rework the twins' room. That's all. While we battle the various bugs we're fighting (B still recovering from flu, J getting the flu, C barking with croup, me with a tummy thing and D fighting any combination of those WHILE he continues to work) and try to get school work done. I hope that by this time next week I will have some very different photos to post, but I'm just keeping it real. And, in the midst of all the mess, I'm trying to keep first things first. How's that working for me??

I still think it looks like an "organized" mess Heather. I am sorry...you are just not capable of a REAL mess! ;)
You're still off the hook. There are certain rules--you are ALLOWED to have a messy home when you are 1) painting 2) installing new flooring/carpet and 3) have out of town guests! LOL!
Yeah, I'd say those are some pretty good excuses for a mess. What if your house looked that way all the time, without the bedroom shuffle? :)
Would you feel better if I sent you photos of my mess?Heather,it will all be perfectly back in place before you can say "I'm NOT turning into my Mother!!!
