LY's Benefit

My boys have prayed and prayed for L. They were so happy to finally get to see him in person! Here are the B boys and L, with his brother A.

Our worship team, along with two guys who filled in from other churches, led a night of worship CELEBRATION!

B shared his thankfulness to God and to those who have prayed and supported his family through these trying months.

L shared from her mother's heart and read some of her favorite scriptures.

On Saturday, September 19, 2009 we held a night of worship celebration for the LY family. If you have not heard L's story, go to http://lukeyoder.wordpress.com/ and read all about the power of God in this little boy's life. I have never been witness to a bigger miracle in all of my life. This little boy was injured so badly and he should not have survived, but just two months after the accident, he was heading home. When we planned this night of worship, we wanted it to be a benefit to bless the family as they traveled back and forth to rehab. We had no idea they would all be able to celebrate WITH US! God is so good!

-Songs we sang to celebrate--"You Are Good," "You're Powerful," "Beautiful One," "Desert Song," "Revelation Song," "Great Is Thy Faithfulness," "How Great Is Our God," "Mighty To Save." We ended the night with "You're Powerful," as that is L's anthem!
