"First Things First" Home School Photos

C was thrilled to get so close to this turtle. It swam off as soon as I snapped the photo.
J with his treasure, a maple leaf. It doesn't take much to make this child smile!
"Tree huggers."
We took a nature hike one day. The boys used their map skills and planned our walk. They were so excited to see the animals, plants and trees that were around us.
B takes care of his pet hedgehog, Sunshine, each and every day. It takes him almost thirty minutes each morning to clean the cage, sanitize all the things that go into it, change the litter and refill his food and water. Once or twice a week he also gives Sunshine a bath.
B with his passport, entering into Mexico.
The twins enjoyed coloring their Mexico pages. They made them festive, colorful and were so creative

Outside, on a blanket, on a warm summer day. The boys enjoy drawing in their nature journals and we try to go outside when the weather is nice.
The boys made a map of our living room, they did a super job and included details that were precise and accurate.
We took yardsticks outside and mapped out a 3 foot by 3 foot area, then studies the things that live and grow there.
Brandt gets to teach some geography and science subjects to his brothers. He is gifted and grasped concepts quickly. He is also very articulate and explains things in manner that others can comprehend.
