All week we've been hearing reports about the weather we were about to get. I was skeptical, unable to comprehend more than 3-6 inches. Wow! The snow began to fall on Friday around 4 p.m. It is still coming down, almost 24 hours later. Most places near us are reporting 18-24 inches and we could get another foot by tomorrow. This calls for the most extreme form of family togetherness! We are shut in with lots of warm, yummy foods and drinks. D and the boys have already been out once to shovel and romp. When their boots dry they will go again. Wii, DS, movies, books, games...we have all we need to stay inside for a long, long time. What a blessed gift! Snow on a weekend is the best! We do feel for those who must be out in it to get to work, clear roads, etc. We are blessed to be able to stay in.
