Today I woke up at 6.
Spent 1 hour reading the blog of GLA's director, Dixie. Sent 1 email to her in regards to Haitian adoptions.
Read way too many status updates on Facebook.
I woke up 3 little boys.
I made 4 bagels with butter or cream cheese.
I supervised 3 math lessons, 3 language lessons, 3 Bible verse writing assignments and 2 animal book lessons.
I walked/jogged 4 miles (in my living room with my personal trainer, Leslie Sansone).
I supervised 3 little boys' showers, ear cleanings, hairbrushings and took 1 very cold shower with the leftover water.
I washed and dried 2 loads of laundry, vacuumed and dusted the entire downstairs.
It was now 11:00 a.m.
I picked up 1 very cute little girl from preschool.
I ordered 3 5-layer burritos and 1 soft taco, no cheese at the Taco Bell drive through.
I took 4 kids to N2 Hair where I got my very nappy hair re-highlighted and cut. (Angels, again! I can take the 4 of them anywhere and people are amazed at how well behaved they are!)
I took 4 kids to their Poppy's house where 1 husband met me and finished his work day there so I could go solo to the grocery store.
I took 1 shopping cart and filled it to overflowing at SS. $150 at that store equals more than 2 weeks of food. The snacks will last for a month of more.
I returned to Poppy's, threw dinner in the oven, fed 7 and by 5:30 we were sitting in our class.
At 6:30, we decided to leave class early, picked up the boys and were home by 7:30.
Once home, we unloaded 20+ bags of groceries, finished cleaning the boys' bedrooms and had them in bed by 8:30. (Insert...when D and I work together, we get some serious work DONE in a short time!)
Now we are finishing up the first phase of paperwork to be handed over to our social worker tomorrow. She should be here by 10:30 to do our home tour and to interview me and the boys.
We may still get in Monday's episode of 24 before bed...
Whew. Now, that is a full day of Mommy Math!

I like the mommy math idea. I'm going to post some mommy math too. Maybe that should be a recurring post. Mommy Math on Mondays maybe?! :)
