On Saturday, February 19, a local private school held a festival to celebrate ancient cultures. Since we are studying Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece this year, we welcomed a chance to check this out. They boys enjoyed a scavenger hunt that led them all around the exhibits, answering questions. The twins competed in a "javelin" throw and an obstacle course. All the guys enjoyed the Keva room where they built structures, tried out catapults and got ideas for projects to make at home. In the art center, C created a scroll. This event was free and it did a wonderful job of reinforcing what we've been learning this year.
