Today we celebrated Levi’s sixth birthday.
His birthday is on February 14, but Sarah and Mike waited until Grandad was home from the hospital/rehab to celebrate.
This was the first Sunday in eight weeks that we didn’t find ourselves sitting in the ER, a hospital room or the rehab center.
It felt good to sit beside Grandad at the dinner table, surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
No one knows what tomorrow holds, but for today, we ate, laughed, played Airsoft and just enjoyed being together.
