Inside the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
Checking out a model of an airplane from the "dark ages," when they still served MEALS on planes!
Three B boys, taking the capital by storm!
It was a very windy day! On our way to the Capitol building...
A blessed escape from the cold, windy day! We took a walk through the Botanic Garden, a little bit of a tropical paradise in the midst of the busy city.
The flags at the Washington Monument...waving in the wind....
What a grand sight! We were hanging outside, the boys were enjoying the high winds and throwing themselves into the forces. They pulled toy cars from their pockets and raced them with the wind as their fuel...and one of the guards came out to tell them they had to stop their fun. He did, however, invite us to go up on the final tour of the day, so we were able to ride to the top of the monument and see the city from above. The boys were super thrilled! This photo is real! JI was leaning into the wind and it was so strong that it held him up!
