Summer Brain Busters

Summer Brain Busters

**I want to keep the boys' minds sharp, all summer long. I am also aware of how many resources (books, science experiments, art supplies, etc.) we have in our home that need to be used! Daily activities will include chores and two hours of quiet time/reading. These are "above and beyond" to keep their minds and hearts sharp!**

*Work on 4 H project

*Play geography game

*Work on a Highlights states book/map

*Do an online math drill

*Work on memory verses

*Read a chapter from the Bible

*Do a science project (make sure mom approves)

*Do an art project (make sure mom approves)

*Work on a scrapbook

*Use “1-2-3 Draw” or other drawing books

*Write a letter or other writing project

*Play a game

*Offer a suggestion

Another important acitivy that I see them enjoying--

*Help mom or another mom with younger children (play with them, read to them, etc.)

**For each activity completed, ask mom to move a blessing bubble into the cup. When the cup fills up, choose from list of activities below. Most of these activities are free or inexpensive**

*Visit to Diamond Jim’s Arcade

*Blizzards at Dairy Queen

*Redbox movie/movie picnic

*Water day activities

*Scooters/boards to Elkton Park

*Make a suggestion
