What the Word Says--Time With Him

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NKJV)

My child, you are precious to Me, My beloved. You bless My heart. I love you, I love you, I love you. I am with you. I am for you, never against you. Imagine how you'd feel if one of your children would wake up early in the morning and seek you out, to spend time with you. Delight and joy would fill your heart. I feel this and so much more as you come to Me. I love you. I don't ask you to come to Me so that you have one more thing on your "To Do" list. I ask you to come because I love you. I want to be with you. I want to share the deepest longings of My heart with you. I want to know you and I want to make Myself known to you. Come. Come away from the worries and the cares of this world. Come away from the stress, the obligations, the pain of broken relationships and shattered dreams. Come. Sit with Me. Rest in Me. Breath deeply. Be still. Let your mind cease from planning, plotting, preparing and scheming. Surrender to My love. Let me wrap My arms around you. Let Me soothe, heal and comfort you. You are My precious child. I want good things for your. Even as you want the best for your children, so much more I desire for you. Come to Me, when you are weary and burdened with the cares of this world. Come to Me...and I will give you...rest. Take My yoke upon you. Throw off your yoke. Discard the yoke of the world. Rid yourself of the yokes placed upon you by others. Throw off any yoke except the one I have to give you. For My yoke is one that is made to fit you. It will bring life to you, not drudgery nor condemnation. My burden is light. I won't place a heavy, cumbersome load upon you. When I give you My burden, I also give you the strength to bear it. If it comes from Me, you will have exactly what you need to stand up under it. If you take a burden that is not from me, you will stumble, falter and grow faint. You will be overtaken by guilt and depression.

Come to Me...you need time with your Daddy. Come to Me. Leave the cares of the world behind. Sit at My feet, soak in My presence. Let Me saturate your soul. When you come into My presence to seek My face and to know My heart, you will never be disappointed. I will fill you up, as you invite Me in. I love you, I love you, I love you...
