Arizona Trip--Day 3

Day three of our trip dawned and adventures awaited! B wasn't feeling well, so he rested most of the day. D and T took the twins and hiked Camel back Mountain. Since T has had problems with him knees for many years (football injuries), he had not climbed Camel back in many years. This past spring, he had a knee replacement surgery and this was his first trek up this mountain with his new knee. They guys had a fabulous time and came back with grins on their faces. Despite the temperature, they insisted on getting into the T's pool. Brrr!

C and I ran some errands and stopped by to see her daughter and granddaughter. It was so fun to finally meet the ones who are so dear to her. We went to Pita Jungle for lunch and it was delicious. We both felt like we were having "out of body experiences." It was hard to believe we were REALLY in Arizona, REALLY doing "normal" activities like going to Walmart and to lunch...together...I kept telling myself, "I am BLESSED, so BLESSED!"
