Another Child?

Before you start picking out baby clothes, take a deep breath. This new child will be one who lives in a land far, far away. He will be cared for and educated by "The City Of Hope" mission in Tanzania, Africa. My late great uncle and his lovely wife have been involved in building this ministry for many years. Since he went on to be with Jesus, my aunt has thrown herself into this ministry and travels to Africa and all over this country, raising funds and awareness for the work in Tanzania. We have wanted to get involved, but hesitated, due to the uncertain times and finances that we are all facing. But the Lord spoke clearly and reminded me that we could do something. Maybe we couldn't commit to the full monthly sponsorship, but we could partner with another family and make it happen. So, I asked my dad if he wanted to join us and he didn't hesitate. We can get creative and think outside the box, if we really want to make a difference. I didn't realize it, but we are getting in while things are very new. THIS WEEK, they will welcome the first 50 orphans into the home and we will soon receive word as to who our boy is. I encourage all of us to stop thinking "We can't..." and begin asking for His revelation as to how "We can..."
