Sledding Fun

I wish I had more photos to post, but by the time we ate dinner, borrowed sleds from some dear friends and arrived at our destination, it was dark. By yesterday afternoon most of the snow on our side of the county had melted away. We drove about ten minutes away and the yards and hills were still covered with snow. My four guys had a blast, this was the twins' first time sledding. They raced down the hill and ran up the hill nonstop for over 90 minutes. I sat in the Trailblazer with the seat heaters on and watched them. One time I saw a dark blob hit a pole, but he quickly got up and moved on, so I didn't even get out to check. Bad mommy? Later, as C was retelling the story, he said "I knew I was going to hit the pole and I didn't know what I was supposed to do, so I just closed my eyes." OK, so maybe some safety tips would come in handy before the next adventure. Right now they are saying their "thankfuls" and at the top of the list for today..."I'm thankful we got to go sledding." And Mommy's "thankful," is "I'm thankful no one got hurt!" I love my boys so much and it thrills my heart to see them enjoying LIFE,

They would love my in-laws hill! 2 years ago my dad took Annagrace and when it was iced over. She went down the hill and jumped a pile of snow at the side of the driveway, went airborne and landed on the other side of the driveway! My dad freaked out but when he got down to her she said, "I wanna do that again!"!
