A Good Day

Today was a good day. The past weeks have been really, really rotten, so a good day is one that is worth mentioning...The boys plowed through their school work in good time. We picked up sweet J Belle at preschool and she played with her cousins for a few hours. Around 3, my cousin and her two year old, L showed up. We were outside in the yard, enjoying sunshine and a slight breeze. My neighbor and her two kids joined us. Hours later, my other neighbor and her two kids came over. We have nine little ones (my boys were the only "big kids" out there) running around the yard, riding bikes in our driveway, eating freeze pops and swinging on the play set. Around five, I took J Belle home and I was able to peek at sweet baby J. He is getting more and more beautiful each time I see him. He was wide awake, alert and the only thing that would have topped off the day would have been snuggling with him. I was too dirty and sweaty, so I didn't even ask!

Thank You, Lord, for a GOOD DAY. I love the sweet little ones you send my way. And I love their mommies and thank You for bringing each one into our lives.
