A Week Of Exploring Together

On Sunday we made a trip to the Science Museum of Virginia, in Richmond. Since our focus this year has been "Exploring Countries and Cultures," the exhibits that were up were perfect! We enjoyed the MAPS exhibit that was set up by National Geographic. The IMAX featured "Arabia" which was perfect since we were in the middle of a two week study of Saudi Arabia.
Part of the MAPS exhibit.
B explores genetics.
"Reflecting on Me and You." This was so much fun, the mirror allowed us to project our faces onto each other, we morphed into one face. Hysterical! If there is one person in this family that looks like me, B would be the one. Of course this activity was really funny for the twins...They could not tell where one began and the other ended.
Like I said...It's hard to say where one begins and the other ends...I love profile photos of these boys. They are two of a kind!
J is happy as can be, exploring is so much fun!
C dancing with a skeleton.
They really enjoyed this "into the cell" activity.
Science night at HCM. This event was free and open to the public. The boys enjoyed the experiments and exploration, despite the CROWD.
Side by side, best of buddies...brothers and friends for life!
Electricity is so much FUN!
C was a bit more cautious...
J melted a Styrofoam cup with acetone. SUCH FUN!
C gets to work. TOO COOL!
B, the mad scientist!
I LOVE THIS PHOTO! J is so sweet and this smile is one he flashes at me often. So glad I got it on camera!
C built a really cool castle.
B built a train and tunnel with Keva planks.
