Snapshots of Christmas 2010

D's parents and grandmother with eleven great/grandchildren. Another one is on the way!
Our family, at D's brother's house, a week before Christmas.
Our Christmas tree...
Several years ago, we heard of another family who gave their children three gifts each year for Christmas. They reasoned that three wise men brought the baby Jesus three gifts, so that seemed like a good standard to set for their children. We have chosen to go this route for the past several years and it really helps to keep the focus of Christmas on Jesus, rather than gifts. My three gifts. These boys are the most precious gifts I've ever been given. I thank God every day for blessing me with them.
Gift #1...More Legos! The boys can never have too many Legos...or so they think!
Gift #2..."Smart boxes," full of books, games, software and other tools to learn with. C had a science themed box, B had United States states and presidents and J had an animal theme.
Gift #3...a new DVD and a gift card for GameStop. The boys picked out a new Mario game for the Wii.
One of the best gifts of 2010, this little man was born in March. He is my baby brother's baby boy. Oh, how I love him! So very, very much!
All the big kids help baby J open his Radio Flyer big wheels ride on from his Poppy. The other awesome gift of 2010, this little lady came to us in July! Here she is with my grandma, her Mimi. Below, she hangs out with Poppy. She has a special place in his heart!
Baby N and her Nana. This little one gets lots and lots of LOVE!

My grandad with his great grandson, Z.
