Our family has walked through some very difficult things this year. Through it all, we are again reminded of the reality of life and death. None of us has the promise of tomorrow. Each day is a gift from God. We must seize the day and take advantage of the chances we have to live and grow together. We were aware of how D's grandparents are struggling in their health and decided that it was time to take a trip to visit. We're so glad we did! We drove to
Delaware on Wednesday evening and spent the night with D's brother, L and his family. His dear wife, B spent some time baking cookies with the boys and her daughter. Our guys enjoyed that so much! For Thanksgiving dinner, we went to D's maternal grandparent's house to eat and visit. The next day, we drove to Maryland to see his paternal grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousins.
