Homework...Now That Is Funny

When we began home schooling, I thought my boys would never have homework. Then, they are the ones that told me "Mom, ALL of our work is homework." Sure enough! I guess we need to call it something else, like night work or "Daddy's turn work." Anyway, my firstborn had tons of that kind of work tonight. It's not really his fault. I just get tied up with C and J all morning and forget to give him his assignments, so he thinks he's done with a subject and he really has more work. Tonight we had to catch him up on little bits and pieces of each subject. I let him take his Science quiz open book. Just this once, to show mercy! He is so very bright and I think he "gets it, " so I don't want to overload him with too much busy work. I hope and pray that the twins will begin to take some ownership in their work and not need so much "babysitting" so that I can spend some time with B and help him.

We picked up a small table and chairs today at a local furniture store. They are made of solid oak, so I don't mind leaving them in the living room. Hopefully having something "twin size" will help them to concentrate better.
