Two More Victories

Happy 30th Birthday to my brother, J and Happy 5th Birthday to his son, Z. What a cool thing, to be born on daddy's 25th Birthday!

Today was another full day with school and soccer. Both teams won, but I dread the first loss. C and J were amazing, it's so much fun to see them growing in their confidence and skills. And it's such a hoot to hear the other fans trying to cheer on C and J, unsure if they are yelling for the correct twin. I told them all to just cheer with our last name, that covers it all! B wasn't feeling well, so he didn't play his game. Halfway through the first quarter, I realized the game had little attraction for me, as my kid wasn't playing. Tired mommy equals short attention span.

I did get to see some "old friends" today as well. That was fun! J and J were neighbors and high school friends. It's fun to see their growing families and to swap stories about motherhood.

It's only 7 p.m. and I could honestly go to bed right now...The emotional stress of the past weeks is taking it's toll on me.

"When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I." This has been my prayer all day long. Lord, please let tomorrow be a peaceful day and one of refreshing...
