R and L have been dear friends of ours since 1994, when D and I first started dating. We helped to plant a church together and have walked through so many things since then. When we met them, L was only three or four years old. R and L home schooled L and her four brothers. We have watched them persevere through the ups and downs of home schooling and it was a delight to celebrate L's high school graduation with them.
L has known our boys since they were babies. From 2006-2009, she babysat them almost every single Thursday evening so we could attend Christ Quest Institute. My boys love her and enjoyed the
activities she planned for them each week. They had outdoor adventures, made all kinds of fun crafts and begged her to use her artistic abilities to draw their favorite Veggie Tales characters. L is a wonderful young woman, so full of gifts and talents. We pray for God's best for her.
