H's Graduation

On May 16, following my brother's wedding and reception, we loaded up and headed south. We arrived in SC at 6:30 a.m. and our hotel let us check in early. The boys swam and rested while D took a nap. That afternoon, we joined the M family to celebrate H's high school graduation. I have known H since she was three years old. She was the flower girl in our wedding. Each Sunday morning, just before I led worship, this sweet little girl would come up to me and shyly hug on me. We've had a connection since then and I wanted to be sure we were there to celebrate this milestone with her. I am so proud of H and the woman she is becoming.
HY also joined us. She and HM are close and it was special to have her there with us. God has big plans for both of these young ladies. I pray that they will be lifelong friends, with me and with each other.
H gave roses to different people to thank us for being in her life. I had walked out to take care of the boys who were not feeling well and I saw her heading toward me. I was touched and honored to be one of her "rose people."
The M family. We have been friends with them since before D and I started dating. They moved to SC in 2001 but we have tried to keep in touch. We love them!
H and my boys. She has known them since before they were born!

H and B...I love them both so much. It has been fun to watch them grow up!
