Today we celebrated Carson and Jordan’s birthday with friends and a few family members.
My dad, Darrel’s dad, two of the boys’ Baker cousins, and five of their friends joined us.
Again, the rain made things a bit dreary and we didn’t have a lot planned.
We had expected 2-3 times as many people, so we had five dozen yummy cupcakes to eat.
The kids played games and made paracord bracelets.
Of course, there were plenty of cupcakes to go around, and two dozen went home with our guests so we would not be tempted to eat too many!
The boys were excited to open up our (used) Kindles, Darrel had spent about five hours adding apps and making them about as cool as iPods! They were thrilled to have Minecraft and Clash of the Clans in the palm of their hands!
They were given some clothing, two new footballs (one with cool Nerf head light gear), Tinzy (a new dice game), some cool marbles (they have recently discovered the joy of that classic game), Boonie hats, some cash and an IOU from us to go shopping for Legos and out for dinner.
