Two years ago, Carson and Jordan were part of our home school co-op’s spring musical.
While they enjoyed co-op, they dreaded the musical.
Mind you, they can sing like birds and their voices are beautiful.
They do not like being in the spotlight, they are shy and do not enjoy being in front of crowds of people they do not know.
Two years ago, we went back and forth several times the day of the musical.
Darrel and I decided we were not going to force them to perform if they did not want to do it.
In the end, they persevered and got through the program, but they did not look happy while they were up there.
This year, they faced their fears with courage.
Jordan even wanted a small speaking part, so Mrs. Updike gave him a line.
He also got to do the Cha Cha on stage and helped with a basketball chorography.
I am so proud of Carson and Jordan for facing their fears and singing their hearts out to honor Jesus.
