This week has been exhausting and depressing.
I sent a text to my pastor, letting him know that I was still in a bad place.
He told me to take the morning off, and not worry about leading worship.
I am grateful that my leader cares more about my heart and my spirit than he cares about appearances on Sunday mornings.
Later, I received this message from him:
I wanted to let you know that I had lunch with someone this week who said how blessed and grateful they were for you as a worship leader.
They appreciate your sensitivity to the Spirits leading and your posture of authentic worship.
So, remember, God's power is made perfect in our weakness.
He is using you Heather to be a source of blessing to others.”
