After a full day of schooling, chores, workout and "life," I set out to grocery shop. I knew it was going to take some time and cash flow to get the job done. I spent almost three hours buying groceries at three stores. Our supply was dry. It was time to buy a little bit of everything. Sharp Shopper, Costco, Martins. $150 and a serious backache later, my pantry, fridge and freezer are jam packed. It took almost an hour to put it all away, even with D's help. My hope is that we won't need anything except fruit and bread for at least two weeks. We will see.
I also added in a stop to Kohls. I had a 30% off coupon and a $25 credit, so I knew I could put all that to good use. OK, so I went a bit over that budget, but I found some STEALS. As always. Most of the items I bought were $3, as is my routine at Kohls. $30 dressy blouses for less than $5 is a deal. I also picked up some nice bath gift sets (originally $30) for $4. They will make great spring gifts. The boys scored new "Cube World" games, interactive toys they have been wanting. Original price was $30, I paid $6. Go mama!
