I did it! My goal is to walk 60 miles each month with my Leslie Sansone "Walk Away The Pounds" DVDs. I was sick for almost two weeks, so I had to walk three or four miles some days to make up the lost time. But I DID IT!! Some days the boys would join me during their recess. Walking is so much more fun if I have someone with me!
A dear friend, DG, gave me the 1, 2 and 3 mile workout videos about two years ago. This year I have been much more disciplined. Some months, I only got 30 miles in, but since the summer, I have tried to be more consistent. Exercise is not my thing. Not at all. But I came to a place where I knew I needed to do something. My kids are older. My schedule is lighter. My excuses ran out. These workouts are user friendly. Aerobic. A great workout for my heart, even when I wasn't seeing results on the scales. I keep walking, getting closer to my goal of a size ___. I'll just keep on keeping on...Seems like a theme in my life!
