I am ready for daylight savings, at least on the morning side of my day. It's so hard to get up and move when it's dark. I had a great plan to be in bed by ten each night so that I could wake up by six each morning. I would then have my quiet time and my 2-3 mile workout. Ask me how that is going...Everyday this week I have slept until 7:30 or 8, and played catch up the rest of the morning. I am giving myself a break, due to the emotional stress of the past few weeks. My body is simply responding to the pain my spirit has endured.
I thank God, again and again, for my three sons. He gave them to me, knowing that there would be seasons of life that I would need someone to keep going for. I thank Him that they are at home and that I must get up each new day and serve them, care for them, educate them and love them. They are my rays of sunshine in an otherwise stormy time. I want this blog to be real, so there you have it. Life is hard. But God is still so good.
