Yesterday we met up with D in town for lunch, at a local Mexican restaurant that features 20 lunch specials for $3.99. Wednesdays only. The portions are so large that we can even share a $3.99 meal, so the entire family ate for $13 plus tip. Wow. The boys munched through two baskets of chips, two bottles of salsa (and declared their love for cilantro, an ingredient they detected on their own) and B and I devoured a bowl of the homemade slaw that they serve with the chips. D ordered a massive Vegetarian Burrito, C and I shared the Lunch Fajitas and B and J shared the Flatus. Yum Yum.
After lunch, B joined D for the rest of the work day and the twins and I went to meet baby A. She is the daughter of a high school friend. I was delighted to spend an hour and a half cuddling the sweet newborn. I took my camera, but forgot my memory card so I could not take photos of her. Bummer!
