I received a call that my aunt's father passed away. This aunt is only three years older than me and is married to my uncle who is just five years older than me. That means her father was way too young to die. She lost her mom to cancer almost three years ago and I just cannot fathom the pain she feels right now.
Dear Lord, I ask that you would reach down and cover this family. Hold H close to your heart and comfort her. Give G wisdom and deep compassion as he loves her and supports her. Help our family to draw together and find ways that we can bless them in this time. Help us all to get a new perspective, today is a gift from you and none of us has the promise of tomorrow. I pray that we would make the most of what you've given to us...
