Little Prayer Warrior

At different points in each of their lives, my boys have been shy or bold about praying aloud. We want them to understand that God is real and that He is a friend that we can talk to at any time, about any thing. Lately, C has been the one who is willing and ready to pray when asked. He is so grown up and comfortable when he does. He knew that I was having a rough time today, and came to sit with me while I was talking to D on the phone. He patted my leg and cuddled up to me. When I asked the boys if they wanted to pray for me, he was the first one to volunteer. It blessed my heart. Lord, keep us soft and teachable, with childlike faith. Thank You for such sweet, caring sons. Keep them close to Your heart. Always.
