Too Much In A Day...

More stuffed animals...the boys used tickets to earn prizes and came away with more furry friends. We must have 200+ at our house by now...and each one has a different name. Meet "Snowflake" and "Theodore." Later, they won "Bones" and "Chew." B won a basketball, councy ball and a pile of other treasures. The twins also pooled their remaining tickets and bought an art kit to share. All that fun, for under $15.
I was amazed that the boys wanted to participate in this activity, as they are even more squeemish than their mama...They survived, with no gagging at all!

B and his buddy, M...This is their classic pose. I must have twenty shots from events over the years with them back to back. B went home to spend the night with M and was so grown up when he told me good bye. What, no kisses in a crowded gym? Where did my baby go?

Friday. The end of the school and work week. Time to kick back and relax, right? Well...not today. We got through all our studies by lunch, ate, packed up the vehicle and headed to town. I had the boys in tow at Target and the mall, for about 90 minutes. Then D met us and took them over to Dad's so he could work and they could watch cable TV. I ran more errands until we met up at Family Fun Night, hosted by the boys' old school. I looked around and saw other exhausted mommies and daddies chasing after their children. Everyone looked so worn out. The kids played games, earned tickets and cashed them in for prizes.

A cute story...We were in Bath and Body Works, standing in line. I noticed that my hands reeked from holding my car keys. They smelled like dirty metal. I said something and J looked up, bright eyes shining and said "Maybe you could rub your hands on an onion..." I thought that was so adorable, if it works to wipe your hands on metal to get rid of onion odor, why not the other way around? I love the way their little minds work!

Favorite find of the day...I wanted to get someone I love a new cosmetic bag. She doesn't buy many things for herself and I noticed that her old one was getting pretty worn out. For the past few weeks, I've been watching a cute one on clearance at Target. Full price was $9.99, then it came down to $6.69. I kept waiting. Today, $2.49 or 75% off. Whoohoo! You know I bought it...and another to put in my gift closet.
